PPWR: What Distributors Need to Know

If you ship packaging to customers who export to Europe, or sell into the EU directly, the EU's new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) affects what your supply chain partners will expect from you. The regulation began phasing in on August 12, 2026, and packaging that doesn't meet its rules on materials, labeling, and documentation can't be sold in the EU.
